Final week! I'm exploding in excitement!

Guess how I'm feeling based on the title! I must say that this week is the best week taking photo ever! Maybe it's because it includes pictures in Da Lat - one of the most beautiful cities in Vietnam or maybe, it is because of my improved skills?? lol who knows! But let's find out: (but hey, these seven photos are all taken by the Sony NEX-5N so don't ask if you don't see any camera's names next to the date ^^)

Simple lamps but look so great in my hand! lol! This is not from my house but my father's friend's house where a funeral is happening. You know what! It is a very luxurious place. Next up you will see one more pic taken in that house because the funeral took a long time and I had to follow my farther.

Here it is. I was in my farther's friend's son's room. I spotted this beautiful lamp on the ceiling so I asked my farther's friend's son to turn off the light except this lamp. This would be the second greatest picture I've ever taken.

Another confusion for the Best photo of mine! It is sooooooooo cool. Guess what that building is. It's a restaurant, a FIVE STAR restaurant, a FIVE STAR restaurant in DA LAT - one of the most beautiful cities in this country! I waited 6 hours from HCM city to get here. Gosh it looks so great!

I stayed in Dalat Palace, a five star hotel. When I woke up in the morning and was getting ready to go out with my family, I noticed this old car in the front gate. It's old, plus everything in this palace is old so I took out the camera and quickly set it to black and white effect! It results in this great pic.

It's time for romantic scenes! The rose is placed in the toilet of my room. I was laying on the bed watching TV and playing with the camera and suddenly spotted it. Ah hah, now I just notice that most of my great pictures are always taken in sudden moment. I am so pro! lol

Sudden sudden sudden and sudden! I suddenly caught this scene too! Look carefully and you can see an old man walking with an old woman. They are my parents. They were walking out of....another five star restaurant! hahahahaha I'm showing off again! This is the the path of a restaurant! Are you ever going to believe that? PS: This is also an option for the best photo too!

I don't know why the photo of the week is usually the last one but here it is! This time there is a special thing: This can be considered the photo of my whole "shooting" career. How cool did that sound? It's the final day of the trip in Da Lat. My family is staying in another five star hotel and so this is taken inside the hotel. After dinner, I was walking with my brother to check out the cinema because we were curious when they said there is a cinema here (of course I brought the camera because I knew my sudden photos are usually amazing). The cinema is on the third floor and it was dark! When we finished exploring the cinema and going downstairs, I kept aiming my camera to nowhere to find a sudden photo that is good. My brother saw that and said: "In this dark place, you've got no hope taking a good picture boy, you're still beginners!" and walked downstairs.....and that was when I took this amazing black and white photo! It was all of a sudden!!!!! Laughing out loud!!! I'm not lying!!!! That night, when he looked at this picture, he begged me to send to him! LOL

Week 5, better, but not great!

 Oh yeah! Say hello to Muc, my little dog. I have two dogs, the yellow one which you can also see in the picture-Phen and this one. He looks kind of cute in this picture. After eating dinner, I took the camera and go for a walk in my garden because I just remembered that I have such a big garden and a lot of beautiful things to shoot which I never did.

 If I am not wrong, this is the first photo that is taken vertically in the whole collection! You're looking at a small sculpture made of some kind of rock in the middle of my house. The background looks not so good but  it is because I cannot move anything.

 And here comes the photo of the week! It is a small corner of my garden. The little bird is one of my mother's whole range of rock toys. I found this so perfect picture which kind of shows that the bird is actually  looking at the flower, isn't it? If not, sorry because it has been chosen the best photo lol!

 Good use of natural light out there, huh? It's the music sheet I put on my piano. I accidentally catch this great view when I got home from school which was about 4:40 p.m. Plus, one more thing, from now on I will put the name of the camera which I take the photo under the photo next to the date. I don't know why I do that but I just see it somehow convenient.

 One more beautiful photo that uses natural light!!! Oh, I just remember: there is only one photo which doesn't use natural light this week which is the last one because I have to take a photo using flash. About this one, it was also taken when I got home from school, because I find out the sun shines strongly at that time, I tried to figure out a different object to shoot instead of just music sheets and this thingy caught my eyes, It is placed on the bookshelves.

 Muahahahahahaha! I laughed so much! It's Nam, and yeah, with disgusting face. On Thursday morning when he was looking out of the window, I just took out my camera and first, decided to shoot him at the back, but suddenly he turned back, realized I was taking a picture of him, his face went like that!! I thought he did that to make me feel it was a joke and to make me not to take a picture anymore, but it was so late, I pressed the trigger! Hahahahaha! And shhhh, I didn't even tell him I got this photo! Lollllll! One more thing, the Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 is the black compact Sony which is my brother's second camera. Just to let you know that because the one that my farther gave me is also Cyber-shot but it's white, and I seem to not using it anymore lolll!

 Behold! Here comes the picture of the week! That is Kris, she didn't know anything until I showed her I took a photo of her lol! Good use of natural light, too! The only thing I hate about this one is the the up-side-down chairs at the back of the classroom. But it is, in my opinion, the best picture among the seven. If the photo of Kris is not the photo of the week, this one will be! Just so cool! That was the first time ever in my life to shoot a FULL MOON! I took about 30 pictures which are just similar, and finally pick this one out for the pic of the day. Amazing natural light, I took it through the window on my house's second floor.

On Monday, I just realized I hadn't taken a photo using flash yet. So I took out the camera right away.  Nhu this time looked kind of angry haha! But luckily, it didn't end up with a vampire so, I finished my work. It was on Monday morning break when we usually turn off the lights.

I love taking pictures of shallow depth of fields and I will forever do! You can figure out this pic is taken in my class by looking at the background. The object I'm focusing is my pencil case. This is taken from the black Sony Cybershot of my brother, but I think I'm the owner of it for now lol because first, my brother has his pro one and second, I hate the white Sony Cybershot my father gave me which always put the date on the picture. My pencil case looks girly huh, lol because it is a gift from my 2 best friends: Dai and Phuong 1.

 Hello it's my guitar! I saw people take good photos of their guitars a lot so I want to do the same thing. But it feels like I'm not doing it very well even though it was taken by my brother's cool camera. Ah until now I know its name, it's the NEX-5N...Anyway this was the best picture of the whole collection of taking photo of my guitar so I post it on.

 This is my most satisfied black and white picture ever! I took this on accident. It was when I was trying out new things about black and white effect because there are so much fun settings on the NEX-5N! The wire in the picture is of my room's telephone. It is put on a small moving desk.

 What is thatttttt! HOHO! Amazing? I am also stunned! I didn't know that I can make that. It was a too long story: I was having trouble with this week assignment because our class had to have at least 2 pictures of long exposure and nobody knew how to do it. I went to read our class' blog again and found out the tips to make it. I used my brother's NEX-5N (because I knew I have to lol) and "played" with it. After some setting up, I thought I was doing the right thing. I set it to take a picture for 30 secs. When I pushed the trigger, I took my little flashlight and went in front of my camera and...DRAW that thing! When it had done taking the picture ( I know that because when it's done it will make a sound ) it took like a million years to process what it had taken. I waited....and waited and finally it pop up that PICTURE! Hooray I did it! I did this in my eldest brother's room. I turned off all the lights and put the camera on a tall chair. I was amazed!

 Here comes the photo of the weeeeeek! Last night I was so so thrilled with the long exposure picture. Today I wanted to actually write something. It took quite a long time to decide what to write though lol. This is taken on the hall of my houses' second stair. I used a bigger flashlight hoping that it would look cooler. Well, enjoy! PS: I love my brother's camera ^^!

Second week in photography career!

Hi guys! I'm started having interests in taking photos, specifically when I borrowed my brother's camera. It is 600 dollars! And it has lots of cool effects! I will introduce which in the following pics are photos taken from his camera.

 I chose this photo to be the best one over all of the pictures taken by the camera that my farther gave me. I chose it because it was the picture when I first knew how to take a picture using depth of fields. These two lovely pigs are, maybe, my oldest friends. I have been keeping them in my room for about twelve years and now I'm fifteen. They still look lovely, don't they?

 This perfect picture is from his camera. Oh gosh I love it. My watch looks so beautiful standing on the piano. Guess what! That watch is my brother's too! But he has a new one now so I take it! Haha!
I dislike wide depth of field, but in my assignment, it says I have to do at least 2 using wide depth of field. It is really easy with my brother's camera. I didn't know what to take a photo of so that it looks good so i just took anything I was stand at and this is my room.

 This is not a good picture. I think so, too. I don't even know why I took it so badly. I was assigned to have at least two pictures using wide depth of fields and I don't like that. So when I remembered about the wide depth of fields I just set up my brother's camera and took whatever I was looking at. This is my room!

 This is exactly one of the example of my brother's camera. Do you see how blur the background is? I like so much. You must be wondering who is in the picture. He is not my brother, he's one of my cousins and he's eight. My brother - who owns this camera - is actually behind my cousin. We were at my grandparents' house to visit my grandma. Normally my brother will not let me touch his camera, but my father was there and he said it was ok to let me try it. Haha!

 And now ladies and gentlemen, behold! You are looking at the Picture Of The Week! How cool is this picture!!! An interesting fact is the camera was not mine neither my brother or anyone in my home. It's my friend's father's camera! We were going out on Sunday. My friend brought the camera to do her assignment and I borrowed it and took this wonderful photo! The round thing is the cover of the lens of the camera. The background is the highest floor of Cresent Mall in Phu My Hung. Enjoy it!

First week taking photo!

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have received a quite funny assignment which is to take a photo everyday and i like it! Here are my 7 photos:

 This is the day I receive my camera. It takes photo very well but I don't like how it looks. It's from my father and it is bought a long long time ago. He says it is really good, I agree but I'm not a kid anymore and that means I only like the things that I choose. Anyway, this is my first ever picture!

Guess what! Nice beautiful flowers, huh? Let me tell you this. They are fake! Those flowers are decorations on my stair which my mom spent a whole day making up when we moved to this house. I saw photographers taking photos like this so I try it out. I like this photo!

 

I took this photo on the same day as the previous one. That is my houses' stair. I love it when it's dark plus when I turn on that yellow light. It makes a really cool pic!

 This is my room. Haha, look how tidy my room is lol! Every night, there are up to three people living in this just one little room. So it's kind of a mess to me. But I still love my room, especially the piano!

 I don't know why I took this picture. Maybe it's because on that day I have no topic to take a picture about. And suddenly I spotted this robot which is a very very old friend. I bought him when I was five and I still put him in my room until today. Under my shooting skills he looks cool, huh?

 I chose this one as the picture of the week! It is more than perfect. I know you like it, too, right? I found these dolls on the cupboard. They are very old also. I cleaned them and put them on the bed and took this amazing photo. I'm proud of it!

 These are my mom's "toys". Adults' toys are always expensive. If you open them you will find out you will never make it! Because there are hundreds of tiny babies inside. You will open it forever until it turns to a little tiny pea nut. But they are kind of cute so I took a picture of them.
